Southwest Landscapes — From Finland to New Mexico

Tervetuloa! I’m Jenni (Yen-ni) — a first-generation Finnish-American illustrator and printmaker based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Fenn Fire Studio is where I bring together my love of art, nature, and storytelling through illustrated landscapes. Each piece begins with a moment outdoors and creating is my way of remembering those moments and sharing the spirit of place through art.

My path into digital illustration began during the pandemic in 2020, when access to printmaking studios was limited. This shift opened up a new world of color and expression, especially in my Southwest-inspired works. It wasn't until the birth of our rainbow baby that I felt called to start something truly personal.

Fenn Fire Studio officially launched in November 2023, motivated in part by the lack of visibility around uterine anomalies — a topic close to my heart. (Fun fact: I was born with Uterus Didelphys, a rare condition that affects only ~0.3% of the population.) Sharing beautiful, handmade illustrations that others can gift, display, or keep close has become my way of celebrating life..
